Watch took longer than expected to ship but once shipped, arrived quickly and well packaged. The watch itself is great but not micro adjustment on the bracelet left me without a great fit so I went and got an after market bracelet.

So this watch the GWG1000 has been out for some time. It has been replaced by the newer GWG2000 which I did not want. The process of finding an older casio that is new with tags and not repacked or actually used sold as new is kind of difficult. The one thing I know is that the website gave me confidence in the product as well as the testimony by customers. I felt that the product was as described by Sakura and I can say that the description is accurate and the price is more than fair. I would definately order again from Sakura Watches. Thank you

I was ripped off! I write this review to warn all EU citizens who are on a budget and want to buy a JDM watch.Please, don't buy here. There are hidden fees.First, you will have to pay in japanese Yen through paypal . Paypal charged me with 13 euros for the transaction. But the worst part was the delivery with DHL : they wanted 79 euros for the duty fee! I read that is a common practice for DHL to overcharge customer with duty fee.
I got the watch a week after the ordering but I feel disgusted by these companies dishonest behaviour.

This is a very beautiful watch. It is simple, yet very sophisticated and lightweight, which I enjoy including in my rotation. There is an website that you can use in the US to use radio signals to set the time, but doing it manually is just as easy. Excellent customer service from Sakura. They kept me updated on the shipment throughout the process, which was delivered in about a week. They used DHL and I did not have to deal with any hassles of importing the watch to the US.

Suffiecient. Wave ception works very good, as well as Bluetooth. Premium watch that has a presence on the wrist like a 42mm case, it wears bigger than expected. I do not like the very flat bottom as it is not giving much friction and not helping the air to circulate. This is much better on a Grand Seiko quartz.

Works great! Radio synchronization works even though I am 1,100 km from the tower. The color is not the same as in the picture; it is a lighter light blue (look may photo).

The Seiko SBPY167 Solar is a watch that impresses from the very first moment. Its finish showcases the classic Seiko quality: clean polishing, a great contrast between brushed and glossy surfaces, and an overall solidity that inspires confidence.
The aesthetics strike a perfect balance between sportiness and elegance, making it versatile for everyday wear as well as more formal occasions. The size is very well-proportioned, comfortable even on medium wrists, and it feels light without losing presence.
On the wrist it looks fantastic, with a modern design that catches the eye without being over the top. In short, it offers an excellent value within Seiko’s solar lineup.

2. Sakura Watches: impeccable service
Buying through Sakura Watches was equally satisfying. The shipment from Japan arrived beautifully prepared and very well protected, showing exceptional care from the store. Their service is thorough, fast, and professional, providing great peace of mind throughout the entire process.
If anything, one might miss a small personal touch in the package, such as a handwritten business card in kanji or some simple gesture to make the experience even warmer. It doesn’t detract from their excellent service, but it would add an extra layer of charm.
The only real downside—though entirely beyond their control—are the import taxes in Spain, which amount to nearly 30% of the value. This does take away from the overall experience by raising the final cost considerably.

Conclusion
Even so, the Seiko SBPY167 Solar is highly recommended, and my experience with Sakura Watches was outstanding.
Thanks to the Sakura team for their professionalism and dedication. I would absolutely buy from them again.

The watch itself is a stunner and great to use. It has very quickly become my new favourite in my collection. It looks and feels high quality on top of the great tech that goes into a G-Shock.
A particularly fantastic upgrade in this is the STN display. Traditionally, negative displays tend to be dim and hard to read, but the STN display in this is far superior. It has very high legibility, even in low light conditions - and without using the backlight.
