As already stated by many owners, great watch at a super value for money ratio.
Excellent comfort due to its lightness on the wrist and with the adjustable bracelet, great look and accuracy. And cherry on top of the cake: setting date and time even without radiocontrol is so easy following the user manual downloaded on the internet (paper version only in Japanese as it is a japan market dedicated model). Thank you Sakura for the price and the very fat delivery!

Absolutely superb! Beautiful piece with incredible features. The sapphire crystal does seem to be internally domed, which is not described even on Casio's page. I perfer domed so it was a lovely suprise, but if you don't, be warned. Shipping and service were excellent. I will absolutely buy from these folks again!

This is my first time ordering from Sakura Watches. The experience is excellent. It is easy enough to order and it's clear what the price breakdowns are. I got a notification to pay the duty from DHL by email, I paid online, and they released it from customs. The whole delivery process took about 5 business days to ship to Toronto.
For the watch. The build quality is superb. The sunburst texture looks high class. The second hand is hitting the marks 95% I would say. The date was a little off, but I'm glad that I can manually adjust it, now it's perfect. Sapphire glass w/ AR coating is almost invisible, it shines a little blue and purple. The watch has a lot of shine from the hour markers and the bracelet, perfect for dressing up. I put on a black leather strap with white stitching to dress it down for more business casual wear. I think it would work well with sailcloth straps. I tried nylon, it's too casual for this watch. As for the radio synchronization, it works perfectly every night when it's put at a south facing window. It does not sync at east facing windows. The WWVB tower is located south west of Toronto, so you have to aim in that direction. If you have trouble syncing, you can download an app and use your phone to sync it. The time of this watch is adjusted by time-zone. Once you set the correct time zone, you also have to make sure AM/PM is not mixed up. After you set it up the first time, this watch is truly a set-it-and-forget-it watch. Solar will keep it running everyday, and accuracy is top-notch.
I'm a little greedy and hope the clasp could be milled not stamped, and it would be great if the date dial background is black. The end links are hollow but no big deal. Overall, the watch is worth every dollar, and it is good for any occasion, from banquet to work, from BBQ party to casual grocery run.

Ordered a Citizen Reguno RS25-0052B from Sakura Watches as my first foray into solar-powered watches, and I couldn’t be happier. The watch is beautiful in person, and the bracelet was straightforward to size and adjust.
This was also my first order with Sakura, and I specifically wanted to see how they handled shipping speed, communication, and the overall customs/import process. Everything went exactly as expected: clear communication, prompt delivery, and no surprises with customs.
I would absolutely buy from Sakura Watches again. Next on my list is likely a Casio Oceanus.

Is this the first actual review of the white dial BN0265 in the wild??? That white dial is a perfect crisp, flat, matte white, exactly what I was hoping for - no lumpy texture or beigeness that some other manufacturers favour in their 'white' dial models. The black surrounding the lume on the markers is thick and glossy - maybe applied rather than printed. Orange seconds hand pops like it should. Dark grey treatment of the metal bezel very cleverly makes it less prominent against the polished and brushed case. 60-click bezel has a nice action. Olive green strap is very comfy and a bit darker in real life. Overall the look seems like a very cool evocation of the 1980s. If you've been hankering after a white dial then I reckon this one's a winner. Ordered as soon as it popped up "in stock" at Sakura on 3 July, shipped FedEx on 17 July (one day after Japanese release), received in Australia 22 July. Not bad! Pictured in the sun, plus alongside the infamous BN0241 in natural light.

Having now spent some time with my Seiko SBPY163, I wanted to share my thoughts on what is, in my opinion, an outstanding Japanese Domestic Market watch.
The SBPY163 is an exceptionally well-finished chronograph that offers remarkable value for money. The case and bracelet are beautifully made, and I particularly appreciate the stainless steel bezel, which gives the watch a clean, refined appearance while maintaining a sporty character. It has a timeless design that looks far more expensive than its price would suggest.
One of the standout features is the sapphire crystal with Seiko’s Super Clear coating. The clarity is exceptional, making the dial appear almost crystal-free in many lighting conditions. Combined with the beautifully finished hands, applied indices and subtle dial texture, the overall presentation is simply superb.
The watch is comfortable to wear, accurate, and demonstrates the level of quality and attention to detail that makes Japanese Domestic Market Seiko watches so highly regarded. It is a perfect example of how Seiko can produce an exceptional watch without the premium prices often associated with luxury brands.
I would also like to thank everyone at Sakura Watches. As always, their customer service, communication and professionalism have been first class. They continue to be my preferred retailer for genuine Japanese Domestic Market Seiko watches, and I would not hesitate to recommend them to anyone looking for quality products backed by outstanding customer support.

This is my first Seiko watch. I chose this model for the radio quartz movement and titanium case/bracelet. It really is light on the wrist, especially with a sailcloth strap! The setup to receive a radio signal from WWWB (CO, USA) to interior BC, Canada was successful, but after that initial instance, the watch hasn't been able to make the same connection. Its minimalist style, black edging on hands against a white dial offers high contrast (easy to read). Super nice low-maintenaece timepiece I'll use for decades.
The transaction experience with sakurawatches.com was pleasant. Everything upfront, no surprises, and frequent updates on order/shipping status. I'm willing to pay a bit more for this level of service and vendor reliability. Five-stars for both the item and retailer.
